In August, 2004, Pastor George S. Stiekes accepted the call to become the pastor of Heritage Baptist Church. He is a native of Michigan and has served in pastoral ministries in churches in Illinois and Michigan.
A graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, he has a Master of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and taught Bible and Counseling classes at Birmingham Bible Institute, Birmingham, Michigan for 23 years.
Pastor Stiekes is an able counselor, teacher and preacher of God's Word, one who understands life's problems and is interested in helping people find the God Who is able to meet our every need. He has 38 years of ministry experience and is always available to assist in any way possible.
Pastor Stiekes and his wife, Judy, have four married children and twelve grandchildren.
